Let me introduce you to the Icelandic National Dessert Hack. This is what I make when I miss Iceland and crave a "bragðarefur". It's an Icelandic term for ice cream with crushed candy and it's incredibly popular back home. This recipe is also a great slightly healthier alternative to resist the temptation of a trip to the ice cream shop.

What You'll Need:

for two bowls

  • 3-4 tablespoons greek yoghurt

  • 1 snickers

  • Fresh berries

  • Turkish peber, crushed

How to:

  1. Add the greek yoghurt to two bowls.

  2. Chop snickers and the fresh berries to small pieces.

  3. Sprinkle some crushed Turkish Peber on top.

  4. That's it! Enjoy.
