I am always on the lookout for snack ideas that are simple, nourishing, and actually tasty. Here are some of my favorite midday snacks when I need an extra energy boost.

Greek Yoghurt with Berries and Maple Syrup

Wash some berries or cut down whatever fruit you have. Add some pumpkin seeds and drizzle a little bit of maple syrup. Voila!

Toast with Butter and Dates

So simple, yet so good!

Protein Bread with Almond Butter and Banana

Choose a high-fibre multigrain protein bread. Spread almond butter and top with banana slices. Such a good combo!

Medjool Date

Sweet, chewy and the easiest little snack.

Grapes and Cheese Cubes

I usually go for Gouda - mild and simple. Also - pro tip if you live in Zurich: Aldi has the best grapes (crunchy and without seeds, thank me later)

Apples with Almond Butter

Simple and nutritious - just slice the apple and dip it in almond butter.

Soft-Boiled Eggs

Everyone has their own go-to method of boiling eggs but here's mine: Place the eggs in cold water and bring to a boil. Then, set a timer for 6.5 minutes for perfectly soft-boiled eggs.
